Membership Options

Whether you seek immediate, time‑bound access or a lasting home at the Club, you’ll find a membership to match.

• 
  Debenture Membership

  Enjoy immediate access through a Debenture Membership held by a company or an individual. Its value is depreciated by 10% each year over ten years, providing a direct route for families who prefer not to wait.
• 
  Ordinary Membership

  Our private, lifetime membership is the traditional path to long‑term belonging at the LRC. Applicants are proposed and seconded by two active voting members and join a waitlist; membership and fees are non‑transferable.
• 
  Sponsored Temporary Membership

  Designed for professionals temporarily based in Hong Kong and sponsored by their employer. Companies may sponsor up to two employees at any one time, for an initial six‑month term, renewable in six‑month increments for up to three years at the Club’s discretion.
• 
  Five-Day Membership

  A two‑year, weekday‑only membership for those who prefer a quieter club experience from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Applicants are required to be proposed and seconded by two active voting members.
• 
  Sports Membership

  For elite players in badminton, bowling, bridge, pickleball, squash, swimming or tennis. Pre‑assessment of playing standard is required; successful applicants join an active competitive and social sports community.
