The Ladies’ Recreation Club (LRC) has been a home away from home since 1884, welcoming a vibrant, diverse and multi-generational community of around 5,000 members.
Established as a social and sporting retreat, the Club has long nurtured a shared passion for sports, recreation and an active lifestyle that brings people together.
From hosting the renowned Baker Tennis Tournament in 1966 to forming our first swimming team in 1967, LRC has always celebrated participation, performance and friendly competition.
Today, members enjoy a beautiful ambience, comprehensive facilities and a full calendar of events—offering them the perfect setting to play, dine and connect in a spirited, inclusive environment every day of the week.
